Scorpio Stellium

“Sometimes it takes an overwhelming breakdown to have an undeniable breakthrough.” Jupiter re-entered Pisces on Thursday, October 27. Themes that we thought were resolved back in May can suddenly come back to be revised. A chapter that started around that time in our lives is turning the page, but needs a little re-work first. The good news is that having the Planet of Abundance (Jupiter) in its traditional home sign of Pisces will help overcome the frustration from Mars’ retrograde, stationing over the weekend. Luck, growth, & personal expansion can now be more commonly seen when we connect with ourselves intuitively & imaginatively. We can feel a greater need to work on spiritual baggage and letting go of what’s weighing us down. Saturday, October 29th, communication and thought become more intense, emotionally centered, and intuitive over the next weeks as Mercury enters Scorpio. Mercury plunges into the depths when it enters passionate and private Scorpio, ruled by Pluto and representing what lies beneath the surface. Our thoughts mix with our feelings and picks at us to ask questions and get to the bottom of what's happening in our lives, especially since we’ll have the Sun, Venus, and Mercury all in the Underworld. The shallow & superficial have no power for the next month. During this period of intensity and intimacy, it can be a very effective period to talk about difficult issues regarding relationships, money, and mortality. We may become more aware of our fears and desires, and the ways that others’ lives impact our own. We are able to discuss topics that are normally off-limits. On the dark side of this transit, our minds are also more suspicious when Mercury is in Scorpio. We’re quick to assume there are things going on that we don’t know about. Don’t push too hard unless you wish to risk creating long-term issues of intimacy & mistrust. Mercury in Scorpio does have the potential to foster greater intimacy - we just need to be aware. Sunday October 30th, Mars retrogrades in the sign of Gemini until January 12th, 2023. As Mars is the planet of action and ambition, our efforts may feel sluggish or restricted in a way during a retrograde. We’re more easily frustrated and hot-headed, but we need to remember that just because momentum feels slow or crowded, does not mean we should give up altogether. Mars Rx in Gemini challenges us to get comfortable with moving at a different pace in a particular area of our lives (where-ever Gemini is in your Natal Chart). This element of unpredictability is what can allow us to make breakthroughs if we’re capable of finding patience and inner reflection. This is a chance to make changes and to open our minds to growth. Choose wisely, as we remain in Eclipse energy, awaiting the next Eclipse on November 8th, as the Full Moon takes on Taurus.
