”There are better starters than me but I’m a strong finisher.” - Usain Bolt. We’re one week away from the Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius on December 4th / 5th. A Solar Eclipse is similar to a New Moon, however, a Solar Eclipse is more powerful because the Moon darkens the Sun. The Sun will be conjunct the Moon, putting them in a harmonious lineup as they undergo great change together. The combination of the Father Sun & Mother Moon finding their common ground gives us on Earth an invigorating burst of energy & initiative. It also brings emotional balance, through the process of exposing us to a little turmoil. All possibilities are on the table & we essentially peer into a looking glass of the future as we pay attention to the subtext around us during Eclipse SZN. This upcoming week is an excellent time for making a fresh start, making healthy changes, and / or starting a new project. Mercury is heavily involved with this Eclipse so we’re automatically in an ideal position for sharing ideas, making plans, buying & selling processes, negotiations and overall, meeting new people. Then, we have contacts with Uranus, the blindspot of the Cosmos. This can make us feel nervous, tense / anxious. The buildup of energy can feel exciting but also a little scary. Pressure to change sets in. The Solar Eclipse combination of the Father & Mother uniting means an adjustment of sorts is needed from us. The emphasis from Sagittarius suggests we remain flexible & cautious; seek responsible risks and take them. Saturn also comes out for the Solar show, providing a grounding influence, which then reduces the more unsettling effects. It lends us caution, but instills patience, perseverance, & a strong work ethic wherever we’re at on our journeys (find Sagittarius in your birth chart). As lovely & lighthearted as Sagittarius can be, this Eclipse gifts us this time period for a little hard work. Whatever the next week throws at you, Trust Yourself, lean into the opportunity to problem solve, and look forward to who you become on the other side. Finish strong.
