“You can’t change what you refuse to confront.” The New Moon in Aries on April 1st is Conjunct Chiron and Square Mercury - what hurts us holds back, and it’s time to take control. The areas of our lives ruled by Aries (find the House Aries occupies in your birth chart) are highlighted this month and are asking us to speak up in their favor. The Aries New Moon is here to provide a new perspective to our pain and resentments; presenting an opportunity for understanding and acceptance; specifically in the areas of Anger, Desire, and Leadership. A new understanding of who we are is emerging, through a series of fast paced movements during the month of April. On the 4th we have a conjunction between Mars (Aries’ Ruling Planet) and Saturn, (the Rule - making, structure building Planet, ruling Capricorn). Saturn demands you take responsibility for where you are in life and where you want to be, while Mars wants you to pursue your dreams with passion & ambition. Combined, there is permission for you to let go of any fears that may be sabotaging your progress, and take assertive steps forward. However we’ll still have to fight to put ourselves first and be conscious of our actions; serious work is required. The New Moon in Aries asks us to recognize our individual power & honor it as we welcome and confront change head on. On the 5th, Venus will enter Pisces and help to soften any hot - headed blows that may come, but we’re reminded to remain in stable in our vision even if tensions run high & harsh truths surface. We’re aligning our core values and getting into the nitty gritty details.
